The GAMMA Software

The GAMMA Software is a professional, commercial solution for SAR, InSAR, and PSI processing, developed and continuously maintained by GAMMA. Our commitment is to keep the software up to date with new innovation. Input from our own R&D projects, as well as close collaboration with leading experts worldwide, drives the integration to support new sensors and advanced algorithms.

Today, the GAMMA Software is used across the globe by researchers, companies, and public authorities, supporting their daily work in Earth observation and geoscience.

Designed as a comprehensive toolbox, the software covers the entire SAR processing chain—from raw data to end products such as digital elevation models, displacement maps, and land use maps. It is organized into modular packages, each consisting of well-structured, fully documented code.

Users can run programs individually via the command line or combine them into automated scripts for efficient, large-scale processing. This flexibility makes the GAMMA Software a powerful tool for both research and operational applications.

Training courses

With the growing demand for radar remote sensing in bio- and geophysical applications, GAMMA offers a comprehensive range of training courses. These courses cover both the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of SAR data processing, interferometric SAR, PS-InSAR, and related applications.

Our small-group trainings are held regularly and typically include an introductory overview of the topic, followed by hands-on processing exercises using the GAMMA software modules.

We also provide tailored, ad-hoc courses designed to meet specific needs or interests.
